Why IV Drips, B12 Shots, Peptides, and Supplements May Not Be Solving the Root Cause of Your Fatigue

South Florida is full of wellness options right now.

IV drips.

B12 shots.

Peptides.

Cryotherapy.

Red light therapy.

Supplement stacks.

Recovery clinics.

And to be clear—I’m not against any of these tools.

People can and do truly benefit from them.

If someone is dehydrated, genuinely nutrient deficient, dealing with absorption issues, or needs short-term support, these therapies can absolutely have their place.

But there’s a bigger conversation that often gets missed.

Why does someone feel depleted in the first place?

That’s the real question.

A lot of people are trying to pour more resources into a body that’s stuck in a constant stress response.

When the nervous system is locked into fight-or-flight mode, the body shifts its priorities.

Digestion often slows down.

Sleep quality can decline.

Recovery becomes less efficient.

Inflammation may increase.

People can feel wired, exhausted, foggy, and depleted even while spending a lot of money trying to “optimize” themselves.

Even when nutrients are delivered through injections or IV therapy and bypass digestion, they still don’t bypass the rest of your physiology.

Your body still needs proper recovery.

Your nervous system still needs regulation.

Your system still needs to feel safe enough to repair.

This is why some people feel incredible for a day or two after an IV drip—and then find themselves needing another one shortly after.

The temporary boost may be real.

but the deeper issue may still be unresolved.

There are great wellness businesses throughout South Florida offering helpful services like iCRYO, IV lounges, recovery clinics, and med spas.

This isn’t criticism of those businesses.

t’s simply pointing out that many people are overlooking the foundation.

If your nervous system is constantly receiving stress signals, healing becomes much harder.

Sometimes the biggest missing piece isn’t another supplement, injection, or biohack.

Sometimes it’s helping the body shift out of survival mode so it can do what it was designed to do.

Heal.

Before asking what supplement you need next, ask whether your body feels safe enough to heal.

Dillon Ayer

Dillon Ayer is a nervous-system focused bodywork practitioner based in Delray Beach, Florida.

He has more than 20 years of experience in alignment, breathwork, structural bodywork, yoga, craniosacral-informed touch, and nervous-system education. His work blends grounded hands-on practice, body-based awareness, and a lifetime of study in stress relief, coherence, and brain-body integration.

Dillon works with individuals, families, entrepreneurs, equestrians, and performance-driven professionals seeking nervous-system support, stress recovery, body balance, and greater internal stability.

Background

Dillon grew up in the Yorkshire Dales of northern England, where quiet, land, and solitude shaped the foundation of his presence-based approach. Over the last two decades, he has lived, trained, and practiced throughout Hawai‘i, California, Santa Fe, Central America, Florida, and the mountains of Southern Appalachia.

His years of study and hands-on practice have been rooted in one central question:

How does the body return to balance when the nervous system is no longer locked in protection?

For the past 8 years, Dillon has shared Alphabiotic Alignment throughout North America and Central America in private sessions, retreat settings, wellness spaces, and performance-focused environments. He is now based in Delray Beach, Florida, where he supports clients through BrainReboot.org.
